An American Women in the Kingdom

Captain’s Quarters has a great post on an LA Times editorial from a female journalist who spent nearly four years reporting from Saudi Arabia. Be sure to check out “The Kingdom Made Her Slouch.”  Rebellion and sadness pour out of Megan Stack’s column as she writes how she felt being treated as an inferior being, and frustrated that even her western male western counterparts just don’t seem to “get it.” Read her whole column here.
